His father, R. Madhavan, is a popular actor in India. His mother, Sarita Birje, owns a clothing store named ‘Sarita’ in Klagenfurt, Austria. His grandfather, Ranganathan Seshadri, used to work as an executive in Tata Steel. His grandmother, Saroja, was a manager at the Bank of India.

Achievements as a Swimmer
His journey as a swimmer started in school when he participated in the school’s swimming competitions. He then started developing an interest in swimming and joined Goregaon Sports Club, Mumbai to learn swimming from the professionals. There he competed with many national level swimmers like Kapil Shetty. In 2017, he joined Glenmark Aquatic Foundation, Mumbai for his further training in swimming. Later, he joined a 30-day camp in Bengaluru to prepare for swimming competitions. He then started participating in various swimming competitions like the 3rd SFI All India National Club Championships (2018), 64th National School Games (2018), Glenmark 36th Sub Junior and 46th Junior National Aquatic Championships (2019), 10th Asian Age Group Championships (2019), and Khelo India Youth Games (2020).

He has won many medals and trophies in swimming competitions. In 2021, he won seven medals at the 47th Junior National Aquatic Championships 2021 in Bengaluru out of which 4 were silver and 3 were bronze. In the event, he represented Maharashtra in swimming events like 800m freestyle swimming, 1500 freestyle swimming, 4×100 freestyle relay, and 4×200 freestyle relay events. His father shared the news of his son’s victory through an Instagram post.

He is an avid animal lover and loves to play with dogs. He has two dogs, a parrot, and some fish as his pet.

In an interview, he shared that he was an eggetarian. He further said,
My father is a vegetarian and my grandparents too. I am an eggetarian. I eat lots of eggs to get my protein, around 12 eggs a day. Also, I eat lot of carbs and protein shakes. So my diet is basically more of carbs. In the morning I will have an egg sandwich and a juice. I have lots of rice for lunch with palak (spinach) and dal (lentil). And obviously eggs as well. Then in the evening, I have a paratha with eggs or another egg sandwich.”
In 2014, he received PETA’s Compassionate Kids Award for helping and saving animals.
