Parineeti Chopra was born in Ambala Haryana. Her father Pawan Chopra is a Businessman and mother Reena Chopra a Housemaker. From her childhood itself she never wanted to go for acting and always wanted to become an investment banker. Parineeti Chopra has completed her studies from London but because of the economic recession she couldn’t get a job for herself there so she came back India and started working with Yash Raj banner as a PR consultant. While she was working as a personal assistant to Rani Mukerji who suggested her to try for acting. When she was signed for a 3 film deal with Yash Raj Films she weighed 86 kg but soon she lost 25 kg for her role. Her first film was Ladies vs Ricky Bahl starrer Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma.
