He had to choose a career between cricket and acting as he liked playing cricket when he was young. In an interview, he revealed that he still played cricket. He said,
Cricket is still my passion and even now I haven`t discontinued it. As and when I am free from acting and if I get an opportunity to play for a club or anything, I still do it. But considering the career, I have totally made acting my career.”

In 2021, he left the show Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein as he was offered to enter the reality show Bigg Boss Marathi season 3. He entered the show as a wild card contestant, but had a short journey in the show. In an interview, he talked about his journey and said,
My eviction was shocking for me too. I am still shocked. There are many underserving players in the house. There are players too who did not perform anything in the last five weeks and still are there in the house. Also, I don’t think any contestant had given that much entertainment and content that I had given in the last two weeks. I have performed better than some contestants in my 2 weeks span where they have got the time of 5 weeks so I feel I deserved to be there but more than my opinion, I am happy the audience feels the same.”
