Gayatri Datar is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Marathi-language television shows.
She was born and brought up in Mumbai.
Since childhood, she was interested in acting. During an event at her school, she met an actor, Subodh Bhave, after which she decided to make a career in acting. In 2018, she appeared in the Marathi TV show, Tula Phate Re alongside Subodh Bhave.
In 2019, she was invited as the chief guest at an event at SP College in Pune.
In 2019, she appeared in the Marathi play Nimma Shimma Rakshas.
In 2019, she appeared as a contestant in Zee Yuva’s show Yuva Dancing Queen.

I love mountains a lot and so I completed the Basic Mountaineering Course from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering, Manali just after my college graduation. It was a month course wherein we were taught ice climbing, rock climbing, rescue operations, etc.”
She added,
Then I even worked as a trek leader with one of the trekking organizations of Pune. And I used to take people for camping in some of the unexplored locations.”
She has climbed a snow-clad mountain at an altitude of 14000 feet. In an interview, she talked about this. She said,
It was a lifetime experience for me when I climbed such a high altitude in my life. This was during my mountaineering course.”
In 2021, she gained massive popularity after appearing as a contestant in the reality television game show Bigg Boss Marathi 3.
