Govinda was born in Virar, Mumbai, in the slums of Mumbai. He had a very tough childhood as his father, Arun Kumar Ahuja(Actor), produced a single film in his entire filmy career which, was a big flop; hence he had to shift to rural areas. Govinda is a professionally trained classical dancer. His movie “Aunty No.1” was first named “Aunty”, but it was added to the title as Number 1 is his lucky number. Govinda and Karisma Kapoor Jodi was very much appreciated in the film industry. He transformed himself into a comedy actor, and his comedy timing with Kader Khan was irreplaceable.
