Jatinder Singh Pannu was born on 19 Oct 1954 in Vill- Sakhira, Distt- Tarn Taran Sahib ,Amritsar, Punjab. He is 66 years old (as in 2020). He born is a small village Sakhira. Most of people in this village have surnames “Pannu” so Jatinder got her surname from his village. He left her village at the age of 11 years.

But in childhood, He studied in her village school. He says that the school had two rooms, there was no boundary wall. There were 2 teachers in his school Pandit Harnarayan and Pandit Manohar Lal. But one day it happened that all students was called on a holiday.

And when he came there, he saw that his teacher were reforming the school. His teachers said that you too should take up your work and start working. By evening, they made the school boundary. And by saying this, he said that old age is good then now. But he said that nobody works in school because of child labor. Said that if someone works, then a journalist like me take his photo and put it in the news.

He says that he did not know that he would ever become a journalist. The situation made him a journalist. There came a time when some things should have been written but not written or someone wrote according to himself. I had something wanted to tell which should have been correct. There is also a thought in my mind that this should not have been said like this. And what i have got is found on their own. And at first they thought that they would not be able to do this, but they did.
