• Filed a complaint against her ex-partner: Allegedly, Miesha’s relationship with a Mumbai-based businessman’s son ended on a bad note, following which she filed a complaint against him in the police station for harassing, stalking, and extorting her. She also shot a video clip with Voot called Break-up diary in which Miesha did not name this person but confirmed that she was dating him from her school days.
• Body shamed fellow contestant on Splitsvilla: In 2020, while she was in MTV Splitsvilla, Iyer made headlines for body shaming one of the contestants, Aahna Sharma, in one of the episodes of the show. Following this, Sharma’s mother took to social media to slam Miesha and two others. Miesha then revealed in a post, which now stands deleted that Aahna also body shamed another contestant, Arshiya Arshi.
