She met Indian online content creator and singer, Anirudh Sharma through social media. Initially, they became friends, and later, started dating each other. At that time, Anirudh was in Canada and Mrunal was in India. In an interview, Mrunal shared that for her Anirudh left Canada and returned to India. She further shared how she met Anirudh. She said,
When I came across Anirudh’s profile, I loved his feed – it was so aesthetic. I messaged him-or slid into his DMs if you will! He replied with a ‘Hi’ instantly and we began chatting. We’re both content creators, so when Anirudh suggested we do a TikTok Duet video, I was game. It was making a TikTok video together, from different continents, that made the two millennials realise how much they liked each other. So, very soon, their texting turned into virtual dates. That night, I told him I loved him…and he did too.”
Mrunal started her YouTube channel on 14 December 2018 with the name ‘Gujju Unicorn.’ Initially, she uploaded videos on makeup tutorials which gained immense popularity. She then started uploading vlogs and challenge videos on her YouTube channel which gave a boost to her channel, and she started getting thousands of views on her videos. She had 726K subscribers on her YouTube channel as of September 2021.
With the increasing trend of TikTok in India in 2019, she started making TikTok comic and lip-sync videos, and soon, she started getting millions of followers on her TikTok account.

During an interview, she was asked how she thought of becoming a social media influencer. She said,
So initially not knowing a lot about this industry, I endorsed a lot of first copy brands. While doing that I realised how wide the digital scope is. Steadily, I understood how much the good social content is valued and considering its worth I gave it a shot. It worked well too.”
In one of her YouTube videos, she shared that she had a deep faith in Lord Shiva, she got a tattoo of ‘Om’ as a resemblance of her love for Shiva.
