Before joining the Canadian government as the litigation lawyer , Robin worked at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia as a judicial clerk. . Robin’s desire to write , made him write his first book Megaliving: 30 Days to a Perfect Life” in 1994 ,edited by his mother and was published in 1995 which didn’t showed a huge success . This book depicted the emptiness he felt working as a lawyer .Instead of the failure of his first book he did not give up, his second book “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari “was initially self-published and was declared the best book and was later picked up by ‘Harper Collins Publishers’ after a chance meeting between Sharma and Ed Carson, former president of the publishing house. “The Monk who sold his Ferrari” became an international sensation by sold copies of around three millions, which was translated into 51 more languages Not only in India but it also became popular internationally .Robin’s next book , ‘Who Will Cry When You Die.’(1999) this book was inspired by a life lesson from his father.
