In the movie Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Sibi Thomas played the character of a cop named S.I Sajan in 2017. He then appeared as a Sub Inspector in the 2018 movie titled Kuttanadan Marpappa. In the same year, Sibi Thomas worked in three more movies named Premasoothram as Basura Chandran, Kamuki as Professor, and Oru Kuprasidha Payyan as Praveen Kumar.
In 2019, Sibi Thomas was cast in the movie Sidharthan Enna Njan and Happy Sardar. Sibi Thomas worked in the film Trance in 2020 and played the character of Esther Villa Security. In 2021, he was seen playing the character of a cop named SP Ashok Varadan in the movie Jai Bhim.

In more than half of the movies I committed to and acted in, I play cops. If I tell someone that I have been offered a role in a movie, it becomes very obvious that it would be a cop role. But I’m in no position to reject to any such role at the moment. I don’t think I need to reject,because ultimately it is a cinema and that’s where I want to be.”
Sibi Thomas participated in several art festival competitions at the university level and was often titled a champion.
Malayala Puraskara Samiti honoured Sibi Thomas with an honorary certificate in 2017.
